MANCHESTER COLLECTIVE at ST. MARY'S CHURCH
Where The Light Gets In, Track, and The Landing present: Manchester Collective, with special support from SHE Choir.
14th December, 2024
St. Mary's Church, Stockport
Doors Open: 6:00 PM
Experience an unforgettable festive evening of warmth, music, and reflection in the heart of Stockport.
Join us at St. Mary’s Church as the trailblazing Manchester Collective string quartet—Rakhi Singh (violin), Anna Tulchinskaya (violin), Ruth Gibson (viola), and Hannah Roberts (cello)—explore the theme of winter and wintering through music and words.
Cosy up with the sounds of Nordic folk, J.S. Bach and special readings in an intimate, historical setting. The centrepiece is the hypnotically beautiful and meditative Philip Glass’ String Quartet No.4.
Opening the evening will be SHE Choir, a collaborative and inclusive choir based in Manchester, known for their powerful arrangements and community-driven spirit.
Enjoy mulled wine selected by Where The Light Gets In, Track beer, and seasonal treats to complete the warm and welcoming atmosphere.
