Neurowavey Gardening Evening
Towards the end of Summer we hosted an evening with Neurowavey, A community group for people who are neurodivergent. We hosted the first of our sessions for the group to meet up and get their hands in the soil, an evening“Filled with the tinglings of connection and mucky fingernails.” as one of the group put it! There was lots of seed sewing and compost shifting, the group managed to move 2 tonnes in next to no time, filling the 3 raised beds that had been built at the previous volunteering session. We provided a plum cordial and tomato water from “Where the light gets int” to say thank you and quench everyones thirst. If you are part of a community group and would like to spend some time at the Garden please feel free to contact us and we will happily host!
